 Cheryl Ward is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of New Jersey and a member of both the NJSCPA and AICPA organizations. Cheryl’s 18 years of experience in the field of accounting includes over 10 years with the IRS, and over 8 years in small and medium sized public accounting firms.
Throughout her career, Cheryl held various positions within the IRS including Revenue Agent, Employment Tax Examiner, and Revenue Officer. Cheryl earned several awards during her tenure as an agent with the IRS. Most recently, in 2008, Cheryl received a Performance Award for Outstanding Achievement as a Revenue Agent and for participation in the Fraud program with the IRS. This varied experience has provided Cheryl with first- hand knowledge of the workings of both the collection and examination processes and procedures at the IRS.
Cheryl’s commitment to quality includes her dedication to remain current and up to date with the constantly changing tax laws, and to expand her knowledge base with more intricate and complex issues. To accomplish this goal, Cheryl is currently enrolled as a graduate student at Seton Hall University in pursuit of her Masters Degree in Taxation.
Cheryl’s vast and varied experience in both public accounting and with the Internal Revenue Service, coupled with her graduate work, gives her the tools, knowledge and skills necessary to successfully handle even the most challenging tax and accounting issues.
